(Sea Dayak) Iban's Tiara: Sugu tinggi headdress


Sugu Tinggi(tall combs) is a traditional headgear /headdress that is worn by Iban maidens from Sarawak Borneo in most ceremonial occasion. It is a silver headgear that gives Iban maidens the unique poise and glitter while dancing the Ngajat Induk & also "must wear" accessories during Kumang Gawai Beauty Pageant in Sarawak(LINK)

 Sugu Tinggi is hand crafted with intricate motifs that depict flowers and other floral themes.
